Internet Answering Service :: A Definition
What
is an "Internet Answering Service": Quite simply, an
internet
answering service is a service that manages your calls while there
is a busy signal on your line. If a busy signal is detected, the call is
then routed to a call center.
Once the call is routed , there are a few options that can be followed.
First, the caller can reach a recording to leave a message much like a voicemail
service. Second, the caller can reach an option to leave a message or press
"1" to speak directly to an operator. And third, the caller can be routed
directly to an operator.
Internet Answering Service :: Nationwide Support
How
Our Service Is Setup: We are setup to offer nationwide support by
the ability to provide a toll free number for call forwarding. All of our
clients need to first speak with their phone company (or we could do it
on your behalf) and set up a feature called "
no ring call forwarding".
This is a feature from the phone company where when a busy signal is detected,
the call is routed as the customer wants. Simply give your phone company
the toll free phone number we provide you with and each time a busy signal
is reached, the call will be automatically routed to our call center.
This feature can also be used to answer your calls based on a number of
rings. If you don't answer your lines with "X" amount of rings, on the next
ring, the call will automatically be routed to our call center. Once again,
our customer service representatives can set this up through your phone
provider on your behalf.
